Stephanie Miller, M.S.E.
With over 20 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to helping children build strong foundations for reading success. Before becoming a first-grade teacher, I spent five years teaching preschool-aged children, and I am now going on 16 years of teaching first grade. I hold a Master of Science in Education (M.S.E.) with a specialization in Reading.
I help families identify the underlying causes of reading difficulties through comprehensive assessments, reading gap analysis, and personalized intervention planning. Through my blog and free reading resource library, I also provide practical, evidence-based guidance and tools to help parents better understand and support their child's reading development at home.
I believe that understanding why a child is struggling is the first step toward meaningful growth. Through evidence-based assessment practices and parent-friendly explanations, I help families gain clarity about their child’s strengths, areas of growth, and the next steps for success.
My goal is to transform reading data into practical, actionable recommendations that empower families, support literacy development, and help young readers build confidence and thrive.
